Software Engineer
Ivan is a software developer who focuses on web and mapping applications. Ivan he studied community planning and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at College of the Atlantic. It was during his studies he became interested in applying GIS to solve the issues of our increasingly unequal, hot and interconnected world.
He believes that open source is not only more ethical but a better method of developing software, and feels lucky to work at company that is strongly committed to free software. In the war between vim and emacs, his loyalties lie with emacs. When not sitting in front computer, you can often find him riding his bicycle around Prospect Park, Brooklyn.
