Julia Torti

Operations and Business Development Coordinator

Julia works with OpenGeo's Business Team, where she focuses principally on helping the world get to know OpenGeo and its products.

With an academic background in political and environmental sciences, Julia has conducted research on transportation policy and climate change. She has worked internationally on east African malaria policies and foreign direct investment in Cameroon.

She began working in the nonprofit sector five years ago, serving on the board of Essex CHIPS. Before joining OpenGeo's business development team, Julia worked on operations and recruitment for TOPP, OpenGeo's parent nonprofit. She is glad to be contributing to OpenGeo's efforts to become financially self-sustaining.
