Software Engineer
Michael's interests can be boiled down to 3 things: maps, Macs, and coffee. His first computer was an Apple II when he was less than a year old and he's been at it ever since. Michael runs the build systems that ensure the latest updates to all components get rolled into new Suite builds.
Prior to OpenGeo, Michael worked in support, training and professional services for a commercial geospatial software company and more recently as a programmer for a geo-data services company.
When not working (and often while working) Michael is known to enjoy drinking the best coffees he can find and seeking out new coffee shops wherever he travels. He lives in Victoria, BC with his wife and cat.
