Core Development FAQ

What counts as “core development”?

Any item in the development road-maps we post in the core development section of the web site.

The feature I want is not in your list, what do I do?

Contact us and tell us what your development item is. If we think it is something that is of wide interest to the open source community, we will treat it as a core development item.

What if I can't afford to fund the entire development effort?

Contact us and let us know what feature you are interested and how much funding you can make available. We will look for an additional funder to make up balance of the development budget.

Your feature description is close, but not exactly what I am looking for. What should I do?

Contact us and tell us what your precise needs are. We only draw up detailed core development plans, with precise deliverables and time-lines, when there is a funder available for the work.

What is the core development discount?

25% off of our standard rack rate or fixed price estimate.
