  • OGC A partner since 2002, the OGC has funded GeoServer to participate in testbeds to become the WFS(-T) 1.0, WFS 1.1, WFS XLink 1.1 and WCS 1.1 Reference Implementation. Recent work in OWS-5 also advanced GeoServer and OpenLayers with cutting edge KML capabilities.

OpenGeo offers two EE packages to choose between so you can feel good about acquiring the right amount of service and support. Both include unlimited first-priority bug fixes not just on GeoServer, but also on OpenLayers and GeoWebCache, along with bundled implementation hours that can be flexibly allocated to any of the three projects.

GeoServer Full Enterprise

Full-scale, truly enterprise-level deployments–those that are clustered, secured, and robust–have unique demands that OpenGeo meets with an EE package geared to do just that. This offering is built for organizations working to deploy highly reliable web-based GIS services.

Includes 500 implementation hours, with a discounted consulting rate of $125 an hour on any supplemental hours.

The Full Enterprise package is $70,000
GeoServer Small Enterprise

The Small Enterprise package is geared towards organizations that are deploying GeoServer on a single server, and who don’t need to manage accounts or can make use of GeoServer’s existing security system. It includes support for GeoServer connectivity to PostGIS and Shapefiles, though in certain situations Oracle, ArcSDE or DB2 support may be purchased as an add-on.

Includes 100 implementation hours, with a discounted consulting rate of $150 an hour on any supplemental hours.

OpenGeo offers and coordinates a variety of development and support services custom-tailored to an organization’s specific needs.

OpenGeo has brought together a seasoned team of expert developers, trainers, and implementation specialists, and this depth of staff translates into compelling service offerings. We assist clients through the development and deployment phases of their geospatial applications with the highest professionalism to ensure ongoing success.

For a la carte services outside of our GeoServer EE packages, we charge a blended rate covering project management, expert development, training and implementation specialists allocated properly for your particular needs.

The 2008 rate is $200 per hour.

A courtesy discount is always extended to our GeoServer EE Clients, and may be available to projects that are strongly in line with our mission and/or our open source objectives.
